Our vision is to engage, encourage, and empower black men across generations by providing a platform for content sharing and collaborative relationships.
The Web of Brothers Mentoring
Through a series of audios recordings and digital interactions listeners will have the opportunity to learn about the lives of other men just like them. A compilation of biographies will be available, 20-45 minutes in length, that simply tell the story of a man’s life in his words. These biographies will be recorded by the individual and available with their permission for anyone to hear. As the database grows, categories will be created to serve more exact needs. Each speaker will be asked to reach out to 5 men and ask them to do the same and so the web grows. As the web grows, the stories expand and more and more needs are met.
Mentoring The Youth
The WOB philosophical approach, is to create a network for men of all generations. Subsequently providing a platform to communicate over the web. This network, although designed for minority men and young males, will be available to all men, mentor groups, or anyone needing encouragement, empowerment, and or advice.
Black Men Mentoring other Black Men
There is a need for brothers to unite and create a platform to communicate with each other more candidly in order that we encourage, empower, and create generational fusion. There are many questions, problems, experiences, etc., that men of color are intimidated to speak about and so there exist a need to share generational experiences in order that we bridge the gap.
